Carry-on baggage

With Air Tahiti, the hand baggage allowance is free of charge within the following limits :

Allowance for child (more than two years old) and adult adulte

• ​​​​​Number of baggage : 1 hand baggage and et 1 accessory per passenger
• Maximum total dimensions : 55 x 35 x 25 cm (21.7 x 13.8 x 9.9 in)
• Eco cabin : 5 kg (11 lb) for the islands of French Polynesia and 7 kg (15.5 lb) for Rarotonga (Cook islands). 
• Premium cabin : 10 kg (22 lb) for the islands of French Polynesia and Rarotonga (Cook islands).

• Maximum total dimensions : 55 x 35 x 25 cm (21.7 x 13.8 x 9.9 in)
• Eco and Premium cabin : 5 kg (11 lb) for the islands of French Polynesia and 7 kg (15.5 lb) for Rarotonga (Cook islands). 

​​​​​​Contrarily to international carriers operating a fleet of large aircraft, the size of our cabins and their luggage compartments does not allow us to grant additional cabin allowance. We recommend that for your accessories such as laptops, cameras, handbags, you carry them in your unique carry on luggage.

All of your belongings (cabin baggage + accessories) must be contained in the dimensions and weight listed above. Air Tahiti provides you with templates to check the dimensions of your hand baggage.
 

If your hand baggage exceeds the permitted weight and size limits, it may be checked in as checked baggage. In such cases, it will be "allowed with limited release" and a fee will be payable if it exceeds the hold baggage allowance.
