Looking for a flight to the Cook Islands? Air Tahiti offers direct flights to Rarotonga (RAR), a 2.5-hour flight from Tahiti, which is also the departure point for the other islands in the archipelago, such as Aitutaki, a real gem.

Located about 1,150 km southwest of Tahiti, the Cook Islands take their name from the famous European navigator James Cook, who visited the region in the 18th century. They are often considered cousins to the Austral Islands. They are close both geographically and culturally. They also enjoy a similar climate. The archipelago comprises fifteen high islands and atolls, spread over a maritime area of 2.25 million km2. 

Dreaming of a vacation on Rarotonga, the main island of the Cook Islands archipelago?

Air Tahiti offers several flights a week to this high island with its magnificent lagoon.
